Tessa
Tessa is a very special kitty who will have you falling in love right away! She is a gorgeous fluff ball with beautiful eyes and she loves to be wherever you are. You can count on Tessa to be right beside you, happy to get some pets from you, and she might even give you a few head boops. She will even lay down next to you and roll onto her back, showing off her cute fluffy belly! Tessa will be by your side, quietly keeping you company and keeping tabs on all the goings-on in the room. She loves a good brush time, but is also just content to gaze at you lovingly from a cozy spot. She is easygoing, and just really charming! She is almost always the first to literally prance over to come greet you and to bid you farewell when you leave!
Muffin
A BIG cat with a BIG personality – this guy is ready to get out there and start living his life with you! This gorgeous guy has buff orange fur and very expressive eyes and meows. He will bring so much love and adventure to the family waiting out there for him! He has so much playful energy and will sing to you often – but he can also appreciate a sweet quiet moment like when he purrs and slow-blinks at you to thank you for extra treats and scritches. This is one special cat who will be an amazing forever buddy.
Mia
Mia has a lot of fans among the volunteers, and Mia seems to love them right back. Mia does prefer people to other cats, but that just means she has extra love to give to you! Mia is a beautiful tabby with the most stunning green eyes! She has super cute white “socks” on her paws, and she might even reach out toward you and lay her socks on your softly to show affection. She also likes to chat with you with meows and chirps. She also has a playful side, ready to chase and carry around a toy mouse, too!
Junior
Junior is Mr. Social in the pool room at the shelter! He greets everyone at the door and you can often find him peeking out to see you through the window, hopeful you’re coming in to pay him a visit! The first thing that comes to mind about Junior is that he is young at heart – he absolutely lights up for playtime! He loves wand toys, especially playing with them on the cat tower! A feather toy has been his favorite lately, but he also gets really excited to catch a cheese toy, too. Speaking of the cat tower, Junior loves a good perch and appreciates a nice window view. He is very content to be brushed and will come to you for pets, showing love with slow blinks and purrs. He also loves to curl up on a big cozy bed like a king! He would be such a loyal and loving companion, ready for anything from game night or binge watching your show on the couch with you.
Coal Bucket
A sweet soul with the most playful energy when the toys come out! He is so funny – he loves to hop into the nearest tunnel to hunt the toys from. It is so cute to see Coal Bucket’s fluffiness peeking out from a hiding spot! He might hold onto a wand toy after catching it for a bit and maybe even fall asleep with it. Coal Bucket will come to you and appreciate it if you pet him for as long as you like, especially behind his ears and neck. He will love you extra if you brush him, too. He loves to hop over to see you. Coal Bucket has a whole lot of love to give!
Q-Tip
While he may sometimes appear to be more of reserved type, once this guy comes out of his favorite spot on the cat tower or cozy bed, he really shows you the love!! Once he gets to know you, he will appreciate some scratches behind his ears, neck, and cheeks. He might even give you a head boop! He loves wand toys, and he also loves to chase soft pom pom-like balls that you throw his way. While he likes his space at times, he also has so much love to give and a playful spirit that comes out the more he gets comfortable around you. He has the most beautiful bright green eyes and stunning black and white markings!
Kiki
This is one special, sweet little lady who will just melt your heart. It may take you a minute to find her, but a hint: she’s usually curled up in her covered bed by her favorite cat tower but if you come visit her and ask nicely (maybe even sing!) she will grace you with her presence! She chirps often and appreciates gentle scritches on her head and behind her ears! When she feels relaxed, she may even lay down next to you and play with a wand toy, or roll around on a catnip toy. She stays close by your side and appreciates your attention. She gets a little skittish when other cats come by, but she will show you nothing but love to you once she’s gotten to know you. She just needs a little gentleness and time with you. Kiki is a gorgeous cat with such cute markings on her fur and her nose, and beautiful eyes that somehow look like she is wearing perfect eyeliner!. She is an absolute gem and anyone befriended by her is lucky as they would have a companion for life.
Frank
Frank is such a sweet, cuddly guy! He has the most loving and curious personality and the cutest little face. He loves to catch toys in the air, like a small soft ball or a little lime toy (a recent favorite). He has also been known to chase a spring toy, push a mouse toy around in a blanket, and catch a wand toy with the best of them! He appreciates a nice pet session and might even curl up on your lap while you brush him and take a little snooze! This is one easy-going guy who will add so much love and happiness to anyone’s home.
Toffee
Toffee is a sweet little lady who can usually be found resting and taking in the view from her favorite window. She loves people! She loves when you come to visit her wherever she is, but she might also come seek you out with one of her signature chirps to get your attention. She is a petite kitty who enjoys scritches, brushes, and treats. She will just melt your heart with her adorable face!!
Brown Sugar
A beautiful orange and white kitten who seems like an old soul, but still has the playful kitten spirit. She often seeks out comfort on your lap or near you, always enjoying a little snuggle. While she can be quiet and serene, she can still keep up during playtime! She loves a perch, like the top of the tall scratcher, to take in the scenery with her gorgeous amber eyes before jumping into any shenanigans with her friends! She is a curious one too – you might find her softly batting at your shoelace or hair from time to time.
Maple
A sweet baby who has come a long way over the last couple months. She has come out of her shell and is unafraid to roll around and get into the fun with all the other kittens! She also seeks out people to sneak in cuddles, and she will show off a really loud purr if you give her love! She is a beautiful orange tabby with a sweet personality.
Agave
A big personality in one, little black and white baby! Agave could win Olympic gold in high jump, and he loves to show it off. All you need is a wand toy, and Agave will go soaring! He will show appreciation for all that playtime by coming to you for a nose boop and might need a snuggle or two before his next Olympic event.
Smudge
A social butterfly who is a friend to all! This little light gray sweetie wants nothing more than to be your adventure buddy, whether it means chasing a toy to the top of the cat tower, sitting perched on your shoulder, being held like a baby, or snuggling on your lap! She is a doll with a lifetime of love to give – she would be great with all pets and people.
Elmo
A big kitten with a big kitten nature – he is funny, curious, and he will love you forever if you keep the wand toy moving! He also enjoys a little mouse toy to bat around, and you might even get a little snuggle here and there too! He has recently been one of the first to figure out how to run on the big wheel in the kitten room and get it moving – he is a brave and energetic little guy!
Dahlia (aka Dolly)
Dahlia is a sweet, shy older cat (around 7–8 years old) who came to the shelter as a stray. At first she was terrified and hid curled up in the back of her crate, but with patience and love, her gentle personality has blossomed. Now she does adorable flop-and-rolls, makes the best air biscuits, and absolutely loves pets and scratches. She’s quiet and easily startled by quick movements, doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but adores attention on her own terms. Her favorite things include wand toys, a scruffy mouse, boxes, paper, and lickable treat sticks. Dahlia is currently being fostered by one of our volunteers and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished.
